I recently started knocking out all kinds of art.
Confluence of Willows
Willow basketry runs deep in my ancestry and can be traced back to my great grandfather who wove baskets out of necessity in the Dakota Territories in the late 1800’s. I learned from my father as a child and have been weaving for over 40 years. I am capable of many different weaving styles as well as living structures.
Jama Brookmyer Graber

I grew up in Colorado. My years were shaped by the proud mountains, ever blue skies, and glorious sunsets. I have always felt a connection to the wilderness around me. Thus, Whimsy was born. Named after the feeling I get when surrounded by trees and the dancing wildflowers!
Sam Brown, Musician
"Without music, life would be a mistake." - Friedrich Nietzsche. I have lived with this motto most of my life, both consciously and subconsciously as a young lad. I was the type of guy to bring my guitar to school. Some cringed and thought of me no more than a nuisance, but playing soothed my ginger soul and helped me get through life's relentless challenges. In high school I had the honor of being taught by great musicians and teachers such as Ben Kambs, Larry Becker, (Choir) Scott Garner, and Mr. Carpenter. They invested countless hours sharpening my skills and teaching me the arts. I grew to love music more as time passed. I had incredible opportunities to sing in all-state choir, perform in ISSMA competitions, and sing solos. During high school I began playing at coffee shops and wherever I could, and this helped me overcome my shyness. I have been playjng guitar for over 15 years, and gravitate toward R&B, Hip-Hop, Blues, and Folk. A few years ago I was blessed to be ased to simg the national anthem at the B100 Festival with a friend and fellow musician Julia James to an audience of somewhere around 30,000... that's one way to face your fears! I have also auditioned for American Idol, The Voice, and Michigan's Rising Star. I love performing and music brings me to life. You can find some of my music on Spotify, iTunes, and more by searching for "Samuel Jay Brown". Give me a call if you want me to play for your next event.

Im originally from beautiful, Puerto Rico, which explains why color, and sun make me so content. My art work is inspired by the beauty of women. I’m drawn to the combination of colors and textures. I love how I can change the designs, expressions, feelings. And how I can reflect on them my own experiences, my own journey. I can express on them love, peace, sadness, hope or pain. I paint with acrylic on canvas, mostly I like to use a palette knife. I live here in Goshen, Indiana not by choice but by the way life sometimes directs your step. I believe is a reason for everything and some how some way, God will let me know on His time. My art is been show in Grand Rapids, Michigan and here in Goshen.
